Stories
Stories related to Good Practices ll General Stories ll Topical Stories
Stories are an innovative method of sharing and learning from individual and organizational experiences. The stories section on this website aims at capturing the ground situations, the inner realities as experienced by the field personnel and the people who are engaged in a particular practice or programme. These people may be the fe/male poultry / livestock farmers, animal health practitioners, voluntary health workers or extension workers. Narrated in the simplest manner, while some of these stories have a clear message, others have an impact on the mind and trigger off thought processes. The stories always depict an issue related to pro-poor livestock development.
Occasionally, professionals involved in harnessing Good Practices prepare stories about a striking aspect, an innovation etc.
The Stories section is presently broadly categorized under – General Stories, Topical Stories and Stories related to Good Practices. However this is an organic section and will evolve to create many more categories as we go along.
Stories available under these sections have different writing styles owing to different contributors. Certain stories are thoroughly edited while others are edited minimally to maintain the actual feel of the story as experienced by the contributor.
