About the Statistics and Rearing Practices Section

Bookmark and Share

This section has been developed based on feedback from users of the site, from queries posted on the Open Forum section, key phrases or keywords used for searching content and the postings received from the `Tell us about Yourself’ section of the website.

Most of the requests were for information on indigenous/local breeds of poultry and small ruminants in India, Bangladesh and Bhutan followed by requests for vernacular information on traditional and ethno-veterinary practices on control of diseases in poultry and small ruminants.

While we have endeavored to collate and upload the information sought by users and visitors to our web-site, we are constantly working to update this section.

We encourage users to write to us for the following:

-provide feedback on the available information,

-share issues (relevant to small holder livestock rearing) that you would like additional information on, through the Open Forum or Tell us About Yourself  sections of  the website.
