Let's Share and Learn
This is an interactive section of the SA PPLPP website designed with the aim to allow mutual sharing and learning on issues related to Pro-poor Livestock Development.
It provides space to share and post specific queries, learning’s made in the field of Pro-poor livestock development etc. Broadly we envisage four ways (content form) of sharing these learnings / experiences:
- As stories, potential Good Practices, Glossary Terms, or a query, comments or feedback on the already posted information / query.
Be specific
Users are requested to browse through the website, especially the ‘About Us’ section, to gather a better understanding of our vision, goals and approach. Only information or a query, which is most relevant to the area of our work, should be posted on the site.
The forms provided for sharing the Stories or Potential Good Practices, have a provision to add text as well as attaching file(s) which could be pictures associated with the story or practice. In case the potential GP or story is more than one page in length, it is preferable to attach a file(s) rather than paste text in the form provided.
While you are submitting a Potential Good Practice, you should refer to the two specific documents titled “Draft guidelines on identifying and documenting Good Practices” and "Concise guidelines for drafting a Good Practice Note in the context of Pro-poor Livestock Development", to gather a fair idea of the kind of content and the essentials of a Good Practice note that must be shared with us.
You can also submit a query using the ‘Query submission form’. Users can also comment on the already posted queries using the ‘Comment’ feature available on the query page. You are requested to accurately fill in your contact details so that we can revert in case it is required. In order to be able to comment on the already posted query, users will be prompted to fill in a registration form to authenticate their postings.
We assure you that we shall acknowledge receipt of the shared information.
So Let’s Share and Learn!
