Dr. Amrita Patel’s term extended by another five years

In addition to being on the Boards of several national and international organizations, Dr. Patel is also a Board Member of this unique programme - South Asia Pro-Poor Livestock Policy Programme (SA PPLPP), a joint initiative of NDDB and FAO.

Dr. Patel has been a continuous source of inspiration for the programme. A much desired critic, her able leadership has always ensured that we do not divert from the focus of the programme. As a firm believer of all Non-Negotiables of the programme, especially “Women at the Centre of Pro-Poor Livestock Development”, Dr Patel has always worked towards translating these beliefs into actions.
