Reservoir of infection

Any animate or inanimate object on which an infectious agent survives and multiplies and from which it can be transmitted to a susceptible host.

 

Resistance         

Ability to withstand stress, effect of disease or toxic substance.

 

Rootstock A rootstock is a plant , and sometimes just the stump , which already has an established, healthy root system.  
Rotational grazing A system by which a certain area is allotted to livestock for grazing or browsing for a period of time before they are moved to another area.  
Ruminant

A mammal whose stomach has four parts (rumen, reticulum, omasum, and abomasum).

Cow, sheep, goats, etc.
