Ground Situation "The common land was barren with very little grass cover. Over the years the hilly undulating terrain with poor vegetal cover had resulted in erosion of good top soil thereby reducing the tree and grass cover. Therefore, initial focus of activities was on improving the productivity of the land to meet fodder and fuel-wood requirements of the villagers." |
